NED and Kellys race in to the future
The Kelly Racing Supercar team is thrilled to announce Australia's NED Whisky as its new naming rights partner, forming the NED Racing Team, driven by André Heimgartner.

NED Whisky and Kelly Racing have agreed to a multi-year deal commencing in 2020 and NED Whisky joins Castrol as the team's major naming rights sponsor from next year.

Today also marks the release of the NED Whisky's master 700mL bottle in a move that is set to make a significant impact on the Australian dark spirits market. Melbourne-based and 100% Australian owned, NED Whisky is distilled, matured, and hand bottled using Australia's finest grains.

Under the overarching business entity of Top Shelf International, the company has spent more than $20 million on a start-of-the-art production facility in Campbellfield, including a distillery, brewhouse, maturation, canning and bottling lines, to support its ambitions to craft a portfolio of accessible Australian spirits brands.

NED Whisky's impending entry into Supercars serves as a fantastic way to continue the development and growth of this Australian business through an Australian-owned team in Kelly Racing.

NED Whisky's partnership with Kelly Racing is a perfect fit given the team's professionalism, achievements, ambition and willingness to step up to the mark and take on the factory-backed outfits.

The backing of André Heimgartner's Ford Performance Mustang Supercar marks NED Whisky's first major sponsorship as a brand in Australia and the team at Kelly Racing is thrilled to include NED in the new era of the team. Kelly Racing is also looking forward to playing a key role in the development of the brand next year and beyond.

The partnership with NED Whisky also coincides with a slew of partner announcements for the team including with major partner Steadfast, Australia's largest Insurance broker network, confirming a multi-year renewal and Sutton Tools, manufacturer of high-quality power tool accessories and cutting tools, joining the team also from 2020.

The NED Racing Mustang will first be seen publicly on track at the Supercars pre-season test day at The Bend Motorsports Park, 18 February 2020.

Adem Karafili, Chair of Top Shelf International

"Today is an important milestone for our growing business with the announcement of our first major partnership as a brand with Kelly Racing. We are so thrilled to be working with the team and I know all of our staff and investors and supporters are excited as much as I, and our CEO Drew Fairchild, are. It's the perfect fit for what we stand for as a brand and we look forward to bringing NED Whiskey to life in a number of different ways for millions of Australians across the country."

Todd Kelly, Kelly Racing team co-owner

"It's extremely exciting to announce a new major partnership between Kelly Racing and NED Whisky for André's Mustang next year and beyond. We've got a big season ahead with a lot of great opportunities made possible by the switch to Mustang so it's fantastic to bring a new major sponsor onboard that we can share that with and start a new journey together."

"There's a great bunch of people behind NED and the brand shares the same values and beliefs that we stand by as a team at Kelly Racing, which is really exciting and I'm confident that we can do big things on and off the track together."

André Heimgartner, NED Racing driver

"It's exciting and a big step in my racing career to have NED Whisky come on-board with a multi-year partnership for my new Ford Performance Mustang Supercar. It is a fun brand and I cannot wait to represent them next year."

"Myself and the team here have the opportunity to be part of something pretty special with NED so we'll be doing everything we can to serve them well into the future."
