Percat sticks with Dunlop
The Dunlop Motorsport Supercar will return to the Supercar grid this weekend at the BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown, as Nick Percat is set to run the iconic yellow and black colours for the second time this year.

Nick drove in the Dunlop colours at this years' Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint event, with the well-known brand featuring on the #8 Supercar at various other Supercar events over the last two years.

Motorsport has always been an integral part of Dunlop's heritage and success in Australia. Dunlop's industry-leading innovative tyre designs and development keeping them at the forefront of technology across multiple racing categories for over 70 years.

Dunlop Tyres continue to be a proud supporter of Brad Jones Racing and celebrate their 18th year as the official tyre supplier for Supercars.

Nick Percat said "We always get fantastic support from Supercar fans and importantly, the Dunlop dealers when we roll out this iconic yellow and black livery. The dealers get such a thrill out of seeing this car on track as they are so connected with the brand and feel like a part of the team."

"Something we've been lucky to be a part of this year with the Dunlop team is the Dunlop Grid Kids initiative. At the Dunlop Super2 events they have a few rising karting stars join their team and they get to experience what it's like behind the scenes."

"The Dunlop team treat them to garage tours, they hold the Dunlop flags on the starting grid before the race, and we've had them join us for lunch and the other BJR drivers and I try throw a few pointers their way. It's a super memorable experience for these young karting stars and I think we might see them on the Supercars grid in years to come!"

"The Hidden Valley circuit has been a happy hunting ground for us in the past. My Saturday podium result here a few years ago was a super memorable moment for the team and I; it was my first podium finish with BJR and even though we came home in third, the way these guys cheer you would have thought we won it! We'll be doing all we can to get back up on the podium again this year."

"Everyone really looks forward to the Darwin event, Winter has set in at home, so to get up in 35-degree weather is always a good time! Plenty of people travel up to this one and make a holiday out of it. We're keen to put on a good show for the fans and provide some entertaining, door-to-door racing."

Senior Brand Manager for Dunlop Tony Kiernan added "Dunlop and Brad Jones Racing have enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship on and off the track. The Dunlop Motorsport Supercar does a spectacular job of flying the flag for both organisations. The car looks fantastic, so we at Dunlop and our Dunlop Super Dealers love seeing it go around. All the best to Nick and the team for the Darwin round!"

Nick Percat and the Brad Jones Racing team will receive additional support from valued partners Kubota and Puma Fuels.

The BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown is underway from the 14-16 June with plenty of on-track and off-track activities. Check Supercars.com for event details and stay tuned to the Brad Jones Racing Facebook page across the weekend for the latest updates.
