BJR gas it up for Phillip Island
Brad Jones Racing have taken the covers off Nick Percat's car #8 to reveal the Coregas Racing Commodore ahead of the teams' 250th Supercars Championship round at Phillip Island.
The blue and orange colours are similar to family brand Blackwoods, meaning fans won't need to look too hard to spot the fast Coregas colours on track.
Team owner Kim Jones said, "It was fantastic to announce Coregas earlier this year as one of our strategic partners. They have been very hands on with trying to improve our productivity and efficiency in the workshop, which has been fantastic."
"Having them on board for this event is pretty special as our very first Supercars event was at Phillip Island, and this weekend we return to where it all began for what will be our 250th round!"
Coregas Racing driver, Nick Percat added "The support from the team at Coregas has been fantastic, they have really engaged with the team and have enjoyed being a part of our on-track success this year."
"Phillip Island is one of my favourite circuits on the calendar so I'm looking forward to getting back there. We're in a reasonable spot in the championship and it would be fantastic if we can keep the momentum going by getting another good result here. It would be great for Coregas, and all the guys and girls working in our team to be on the podium at the teams' milestone event."
Alan Watkins, Executive General Manager of Coregas added, "We are excited to be in partnership with BJR. It's great for the only Australian industrial gas company to be supporting the only regionally based Supercar team. "
"Every 1000th of a second counts in motorsport and we aim to learn from BJR to improve our own performance for our customers."
