While I'm happy for those who don't have Foxtel I will stick solid with Foxtel who give an outstanding service in spite of Skaiffe and Lowndes. |

Re: 2020 Supercars Driver Line up
Let's start with TV... It's been suggested the teams gave Supercars management an ultimatum, get every round on FTA TV or the teams would walk to ARG (promoters of TCR etc) in 2021. Hence Supercars' movement to have coverage on 10 for every round. Next major rights deal will likely be significantly less money for far more FTA coverage.
To the teams and driver line-ups: Team Sydney has the most questions at the moment. Tekno and Rod Salmon appear to have fallen out, but a 2-car Sydney team still appears set. Under what structure? Who will be in the second car alongside Courtney? Hazelwood or Slade? Matt Stone Racing seems set to run Garry Jacobson in one car, with Zane Goddard and Kurt Kostecki to share the other car across the season. WAU, Mostert will likely be joined by Bryce Fullwood. BJR, Percat, Jones and Smith are confirmed. Slade or Hazelwood will take the other drive. Holdsworth will be confirmed at Tickford again on Thursday afternoon. Le Brocq will take Mostert's Tickford seat. Still a strong chance of an extra entry or 2 for 2020. Could be more cars on the grid in 2020 than 2019. On the 2020 enduro co-driver front, expect many changes.

Re: 2020 Supercars Driver Line up
Expected 2020 line-up
DJRTP #12 Coulthard #17 McLaughlin Red Bull #88 Whincup #97 Van Gisbergen Erebus #9 Reynolds #99 De Pasquale Tickford #5 Holdsworth #6 Waters #55 LeBrocq #23 Davison WAU #2 Mostert #22 Fullwood BJR #8 Percat #14 Hazelwood #21 Jones #?? Jack Smith Kelly Racing #7 Heimgartner #15 Kelly MSR #35 Jacobson #?? Shared between Goddard & Kostecki Team 18 #18 Winterbottom #81(?) Pye Team Sydney #19 Courtney #??? ??? (Will Brown?) Most of the grid appears sorted for 2020. Team Sydney is the one with the most questions. With the proposed partnership between Tekno and Rod Salmon apparently falling over, changes in its structure could still happen. Salmon may run a car from elsewhere, maybe even with GRM! Slade is set to co-drive with Reynolds in 2020, expect Jordan Boys alongside De Pasquale.

Re: 2020 Supercars Driver Line up
Team Sydney is still go for 2020, a 2-car operation still. Courtney has worked hard to ensure there is a team. Chris Pither has been signed to partner Courtney, not a bad signing considering the circumstances.
24 cars for 2020.

I'm a Sydney person and would love to see a quality team based at Eastern Creek.I hope my feelings regards this team are wrong.

Thanks Banksie and others for all the driver updates.
Welcome back Senator! Will there be a tipping comp this year Banksie? I am on day 4/14 of house arrest in my apartment after returning to China on the 8th. I didn't even drink any Coronas!

Re: 2020 Supercars Driver Line up
BJR looks light on to me.While I'm all Ford I like to see Brad do well but the line up this year looks pretty average.

Re: 2020 Supercars Driver Line up
No sooner than it starts... James Courtney has announced he has quit Team Sydney. The Boost Mobile sponsorship follows Courtney out the door. Expect Courtney to line-up on the TCR grid with Boost sponsorship following him.
As for Team Sydney... Who knows. Will two cars be on the grid at the AGP? Will they last the season? I'll put my money on Jono Webb not having any involvement in Supercars in 2021. Several bridges have been burnt the past couple of years, its getting harder to come back from. For Courtney, that could mark the end of his full-time Supercars career. His 2010 championship was remarkable given the turmoil occurring behind the scenes in the team that year. Courtney will likely chase a co-drive for 2020 now, but with RBHRT, DJRTP, TR, Erebus, WAU and Team 18 having previously announced full line-ups, there won't be a lot of options available. Short of a team pushing a driver out, Kelly Racing or BJR may be his best current options. He'll be in high demand still, so a driver be pushed out is still a strong chance.
