Twin 200km races across the weekend, is this the track where the Penske dominance wanes?

Not much to read from Friday practice, the wet weather affected the first session, catch up programs for some cars in session 2.

There was good racing across the weekend. Whincup maximised strategy on Saturday, aided by others racing hard and slowing themselves down at a crucial time. McLaughlin showed that clear air is the key. Percat finished with a fast car, but was too far back to take advantage of it.

The changing conditions on Sunday tested plenty out. The Nissan's were disadvantaged by their fuel burn, unable to take the full amount of fuel as early as others. McLaughlin and Reynolds bumped, both at fault, good aggressive racing.
