Mostert in 2020
The biggest name driver out of contract at the end of the season is Chaz Mostert. It appears he has 3 options available:
1. Stay at Tickford 2. Race overseas for BMW 3. Take a seat at DJRTP (if it is available) Be interesting to see what Mostert chooses. If DJRTP decide they would rather Mostert over Coulthard, would Mostert want to be McLaughlin's teammate, running no. 2 at the team? But if McLaughlin scored a drive with Penske in the USA... that changes the equation. Can Tickford provide a racing winning package for the next 3 years? History says no, too many up and down years. Which leaves taking a drive with BMW and racing GT3 machinery. Live the dream for a few years, race at all the famous tracks and in the big races. Plenty of teams would love to welcome Mostert back for the enduros or full time in future seasons. Roland Dane is on record as being a fan of Mostert... I'd probably take the BMW drive if I was in Chaz's current position. Where do you think Chaz will end up in 2020?

Re: Mostert in 2020
Like most professional sportsmen he will probably go where the money is.For his own reputation I would go to DJR/Penske and take on Scott.I feel he and Whincup are both capable of keeping #17 in a battle.Don't get me wrong I think Scott is the best but I have enormous respect for these two and would love to see them fight it out.

Re: Mostert in 2020
Storey just announced that Scotty Mac and Fabs are re-signed for 2020 but did not specify the length of their contracts.

Re: Mostert in 2020
Seems the BMW overseas option dried up with BMW changing their international GT racing plans.
Mostert rejected multiple offers from Penske Auto Action reported, no interest in playing second fiddle to McLaughlin. Which has left WAU the opportunity to swoop in, offer big dollars and reportedly see Mostert set to sign with the team. Some international GT racing through United Autosport the sweetener in the deal. Expect Adam DeBorre to follow Mostert. Will Pye or Courtney partner Mostert at WAU? Who and what form will Tickford hit the grid in 2020?

Re: Mostert in 2020
I think he may stay with Tickford. They seem to be on the up while WAU is the slippery slope to mediocrity. He's done the hard work so why let someone else enjoy the rewards.
