The rural Victorian track hosts the super sprint format this weekend. Winton could be squeezed out of the calendar next year...

Strong chance of rain across the weekend. Certainly welcome, as with many places, been very dry in Victoria this year.

Not sure if the rain will change things dramatically. Still be tough to beat the Penske cars and 888 will be strong. The Nissans have been fast at Winton in recent years, Rick Kelly winning the Saturday race at Winton last year.

Nice to see Mostert crack pole.Would be great to see him back to his very best.Also nice to see the Holden teams that have to buy their gear off 888 giving them a touch up.
